Welcome back to school!

We have a new student in our class, and the kids were happy to meet her. For the first day of the term, we went through the rules and routines again, and everyone settled down very well. :)

We had a little mishap in class. We forgot to close the lid to the ants' new house and quite a number of them escaped, some with their eggs. I tried to catch them but sadly some were long gone. Thankfully, the queen is still around so I guess she has to work harder now 😅

We also went to the library today. We were Word Detectives and tried to identify proper nouns and their corresponding pronouns. 

I have asked the kids to write in their personal organiser to bring a thermometer everyday. Also to have a story book in their bags too.

For students whose thermometers ran out of battery, the school bookshop sells batteries at $1 each.
