Asking Questions

We learnt about asking questions with "Who, Where, What, When, Why and How"

I listed some of the questions the kids wanted to find out more about:

How does the milky way spin?Abu Idrees
Why is the sky blue?Lorene
Why are leaves green?Jaren
Why are the clouds white?Si Qi
Why are there no legs behind the mealworm?Zheng Hui
Why can't we see ghosts?Anderson
When do we see rainbows? How is a rainbow formed?Harinaksi
How is paper made?Jebelle
Why do we have two legs?Kaining
Who invented the clock?Huzaifa
What makes the fan spin?Shiyu
What makes the clock tick?Yu Yang
What is the wall made up of?Zeyu
How do we count/measure water?Winfred
What is the cloud made up of?Jerry

The kids are encouraged to research about the questions they are interested in, and when school reopens, we will look into how we can put information together and present it.

One of the things we want to find out more about as a class:

The kids were given filter papers to conduct this experiment and create their flowers.

Then, they are asked to express their gratitude by giving it to someone who cares for them.

This information will also be uploaded to SLS, and the kids can upload their pictures too.

Some other holiday homework:

1. June holidays book review worksheet
2. Write in their Word Bank Book and NLB booklet new words they have learnt
3. SLS
4. Other things they can do: Koobits, Myon

The school will also be advertising through SLS about Wellington Star Competition.
If your child has a talent to showcase, they can upload a video of themselves through SLS and if they are selected, they will perform on stage. 😊

See you next Monday for the PTCM!
