Last Friday we spent some time talking about how to make our writing more interesting. We learnt about adjectives and tried writing a sentence about a slice of pizza.
Many of the kids started using words like "Hawaiian", "Pepperoni", "Tomato and Cheese" to describe the pizza. We then learnt we could have added words like "tasty", "delicious", "hot", etc.
Two of the kids also shared their books.

I will be asking for children to start sharing by reading their favourite part of their book from this Friday onwards, so they can start practising reading aloud at home if they wish to :)
