Genius Time - Researching our topics of interest

Dear parents, you might have noticed that the kids have a new worksheet labeled "Genius Time". This is a step-by-step approach that the level is trying where the kids learn to do simple research on a topic of interest and present it to their classmates in the end (as a show-and-tell). 

The teachers have tried to compile as many resources for the kids on this website (aka Web Quest):

If the kids cannot find information on the area they want to work on, they can search it up on Google. However, we would need the parents' help to monitor their use as there are many lurking dangers on the internet.

As the time is short in class to do a full-fledged research, some of these will be done at home. For today, the kids are asked to complete writing on what they have learnt from the Web Quest and choose the topic of interest. They will be asked to pick a final topic to work on for their show and tell in 3 weeks' time. 

For the final show and tell, they can use props, slides, drawings, models, books to share about the topic.
