We got our spelling list today and the kids wrote in their WePO (Wellington Personal Organiser) that parents have to sign on the spelling list. I have also uploaded a photo of the spelling list under the <Spelling List> tab.
The kids will be learning to use the words in an upcoming class writing as well.
The spelling test format would be something like this:

Listen carefully to words being read aloud twice. Write the words in the blanks.
E.g.
1. The students went back _____________ after the lesson had ended. (Ans: home)
2. I read a book in the ________________. (Ans: study area)
___________________________________________________________________________
The sentences would be different from what is shown in the spelling list, as we want the kids to apply what they have learnt in different contexts.
