1st Day of School

Dear parents,

Thank you for joining us for the full day of orientation! I hope all the sessions had been useful. An update of what the children had been doing in class today:

1. The children took turns to introduce themselves to their classmates, with their photos shown on the screen.

2. They created "Smiles" during their Art lesson.

3. They went exploring around the school during PE lesson.

4. They listened to a story about Growth Mindset (involving an elephant, a piggie and a snake), and played Blow Wind Blow during PAL. 

5. We collected all the books that were brought to school and kept them in the classroom.

I did not take much photos and will not be uploading as I am still waiting for some responses from parents to get their permission to post on the class blog. But the school photography team has taken some photos and if I see any of our kids I would direct you there. :)

I did not manage to give out hardcopies of the timetable, high frequency word list and list of recommended books to the children. I will give them out tomorrow. Meanwhile, I have parked the soft copies in 1H Google Drive Folder. I will also upload my briefing slides as well.

The children will be going through their P1 Orientation Programme: Start Right Start Bright on Wednesday and Thursday.

Timetable lessons will start proper on Friday.
