Dan, the Flying Man

Dear children,

Let's recap what we have learnt today! 

Mrs Soh came into class with a flying hat and transformed into Dan, the Flying Man. She told us that people were trying to catch her, and told us where she had been. We read the story together as a class, and we created actions for the different new words in the book:

over

house

crane

bridge

train

flowers

trees

mountains

seas

We learnt to recognise the words first by their beginning sounds and wrote them down in our Stellar learning sheet.

We also learnt how to differentiate the letter 'b' and 'd'.

Mrs Soh brought up her two thumbs and showed us that the one on the left shows the letter 'b', and the one on the right shows the letter 'd'. Just like how the word 'bed' is formed.

We also remember that we only write capital letters at the start of each sentence, and not in the middle of it. :) Some of us finished our work very quickly but the rest of us had to bring it home as homework.
