We read Mrs Wishy-Washy again as a class, then in pairs. We pointed the words as we do, to make sure we were all on track
We identified the pronouns in the story, and talked about what the pronouns replace.
E.g. 'she' on page 7 refers to the duck, while 'it' refers to the mud.
Then, we each wrote a noun on a sticky note, and grouped them under 'He', 'She' and 'It'.
So these are the ones that made the cut. Apparently everyone has the same ideas of which words to use, influenced by the story we read.
