Being a Bucket Filler

For FTGP, we read this book:

In the story, it was mentioned that everyone has an invisible bucket of happiness. The kids read that they should be Bucket Fillers by being nice and kind to others. And they fill their own buckets whenever they do that as well. The students know that they have filled someone's bucket when the other person smiles :)

I gave them a piece of verbal homework, to go home and give their loved ones a big hug. Let me know if they remembered! :D

    Mine didn't. Tried sounding her out and she say need to "revise" phonics worksheet
