Anyway, parents, I am hoping to get your help with this. Many of the children found it hard to write using the 3 lines in their STELLAR Handwriting Book. They are expected to write their letters touching the top, middle and bottom lines. Examples as follow:
If your child has this kind of handwriting (photo below), please ask them to erase and try again: (observe letters C, d, and e, each part of the letter should be touching the top, middle and bottom line accordingly. This is actually not too bad, but we aim to be neater!)
It was tough for me to go around having to erase most of their work, and I might not get to everyone. I believe that if the kids get used to writing it properly in the first few exercises, it will be a lot easier for them.
Today, they were given page 11 to work on.
I will be giving students who have trouble with writing a Clever Cat ice-cream stick tomorrow. You can make one for your child too if you like, this is how we use it:
