3rd Day of School

The highlight of the day for the kids was when their P4 buddies came and brought them around the school on level one (after finishing their food). Some went to flip some books at the garden library, some went to count the number of kois in the pond, and some went shopping at the bookshop 😅

The key learning of the day for me to the kids, is to formalise their class rules.

The children came up with a long list of the class rules (10 of them) that they felt were important. They then voted on their top 3 rules and these made the cut:

1. Respect our teachers and friends.

2. Speak at the right time.

3. Be nice and kind to one another.

All 30 of them raise their hands to vote for these 3 rules, so we have all agreed that these would be our class rules, and that all of us are going to follow them.

The kids wrote down one piece of "homework" in their WePO (Wellington Personal Organiser). I have added it under the tab: "Homework/Reminders"
