Today, we read a new book, 'Walking Through The Jungle':
The kids used their handmade binoculars to search for the animals when we 'flipped' the page. They used visual and contextual cues to predict what came after. They picked up some new vocabulary: 'Creeping', 'Wading', 'Leaping' and guessed their meaningss by looking at the pictures.
I forgot to take pictures, only had time for a quick shot before I had to leave for my next class 😅
Most of them wanted to bring home their binoculars, I had about 6-7 kids who are kind enough to donate theirs as class decoration 😄
Today's grammar focus is on identifying action verbs, some of them completed them very quickly, I think the kids are really getting a hang of it.
