Total Defence Day

Each class was given a plate of sweet potato cubes where the children could taste during snack break. Not every child wanted to eat them, so several of the kids got to have more. For some, it was so good that they kept asking for more. It was kind of difficult to explain to the children that these were the wartime food that the people had to eat everyday in the past during the Japanese Occupation and how harsh the conditions were.

For English, we revised what we learnt yesterday and worked on some worksheets in class. There is one page of homework for revision that was sent back today.
