We read a new book today, and it was really quite fun!
Perhaps for today, ask them to retell the story to you, and see how well they do!
Vocab words: Crawl, Snapped, Sneezed, Popped
The kids used contextual cues from the pictures to predict what comes next, and what the words mean too. We also talked about Stranger Danger, and not to accept anything from strangers.
When I asked them if they would attend the Crocodile's Tea, many of them said yes, because they want to fight the Crocodile, scold the Crocodile, etc. We shall write about this for our journal this Friday, can't wait to read what the kids will come up with! 😁
There's one piece of homework today for English, I have asked them to record it in their organiser (*coughs* p. 10). For this term, I'm trying to see if they are able to take responsibility of their own learning.
